Which subscription news services do you pay for? I want premium, non content farm, mostly human-written science, tech, security news. I'm considering things like The Information, 404 media, MIT Tech Review, etc, but looking for recommendations. (I get NYT, AP, Reuters already) - ThreadSky

Wired, the Economist, the Atlantic (which was on probation until they hired @shaneharris.bsky.social so I'm giving them another year to see how it goes). The High Side (mil/intel Substack with a mix of historical and current events from @jackmurphyrgr.bsky.social and Sean Naylor). High Country News.

It’s a great collection for science and tech, particularly Wired, Popular Mechanics, Smithsonian Magazine, etc. And you get all the other really good News publications (The Atlantic, WSJ, TIME, etc..) along with it. It take some curating at first, but it’s a pretty good value IMO.

All of Apple’s ecosystem (iOS, MacOS, iPasOS, etc..)
It’s super annoying that Apple News+ doesn’t have a web interface.
