The remake. I suspect the original hasn't aged well, and I have a hard time getting into older shows anyway. I notice all the animation shortcuts, the low resolution, the weaker audio quality, etc. I realize it's often a matter of time and budget, but that doesn't help me get through it.

she-ra is really good, I never finished it because I have a hard time watching shows without someone to watch them with but I was able to get through a good bit of it on my own which is def a good sign that the show goes hard.

I absolutely adore it. As others mentioned, the first season is a bit of trying to find out what it will be and how it will get there. Which, I think we can all relate to. There are delightful moments, though, and what it proceeds to grow into is beautiful and hopeful. Something we all need now. 🥰
