In 2009, she was 76 and on her second cancer and if you suggested she retire, you’d get lambasted for being disrespectful and maybe sexist. I thought it was obvious that she and JPS rode out the Bush years and then would retire to ensure younger, healthier justices. Her ego helped destroy the US.
Yah but if she lived a few years longer none of this matters. Hard to fault a person for thinking you got a few more years in you. I'm going to live forever and I'm nobody special.
