My roommate set up an Amazon Fire Stick and that streams directly from Steve's library. My dad did something similar with a Roku stick too.

I could only do it with a TV that had a built-in browser. You might be able to cast from the browser to the Chromecast.

Depending on how Steve delivers, VLC and the entire Chrome (sometimes Edge) browser *should* just natively be castable to the Chromecast, but I don't have much experience.

That shouldn't be much of a problem then. I know VLC can connect to that, probably a bunch other media players.

don't know if you can download apps from the play store on yours (the one I had years ago didn't have a google tv system) but if you can, download an airplay app. they kinda suck (or atleast the one I have does) but they get the job done

also, was testing out the chrome app to see if I could cast from Steve to my google tv and it didn't work.. ☹️ it would be godsend if it did tho

You can look for media player with that function... I think that VLC (free and my default one) can do that.

You should be able to mirror your screen on a smart TV. Sometimes the connection can be spotty but should work well enough

My TV is too boomer for casting so I just have a tiny computer live on it (Pi/Firestick type) but you theoretically you be able to use Windows wireless display casting or AirPlay if it's from your iPad, but I know if if they're always the most stable.

I would assume theres some kind of bluetooth program that can do it? Are you trying to cast from your phone or your PC?
