I'm glad that someone finally knocked Strom Thurmond off of his high horse. His filibuster was not the Senate's finest day. Not only that, but Senator Booker spoke eloquently and powerfully about the danger facing our republic. Tell me, Senator, are you interested in a new job come 2028?
As a New Jerseyan who admires @booker.senate.gov, Iβm extra proud today. His courage, heart and compassion is a standard all should aspire to. A true measure of a man is how much he cares for and fights for those not as fortunate, for those who need help, for those who may struggle. TY Cory!
Cory Booker's voice rose like thunder and stood not just in protest but in loveβfor country, truth for all of us who have been gaslit/silenced & bruised by this storm
His feet stood where courage meets exhaustion & his words lit the dark
We saw you, Senator
We wept with you
we will not forget!
Let's honor Sen. Booker!
Cory Booker stood TRULY stood for all of us who are not okay with silence, complicity, or surrender
Through fatigue & fire, he gave voice to our outrage, our hope, & our will to fight
Tears in his eyes, power in his words
Thank you, Senator
You rose, and we rise with you.
Not a single mention of this in morning paper, The Denver Post. Paper also continues to ignore country wide daily demonstrations and protests involving thousands of Americans. I ask you why???

I'm trying to get people out to the protests on April 5th -- it's our turn to act now. Can you share, please? Thank you
