Well, lucky for me I don't care about Musk as much as I care about myself.

Shorting a stock can lead to unlimited potential loss, and that's something I'd rather avoid :)

It's important to use a stop-loss limit, with most options the asset bottoms out when its value moves too far in the other direction, basically becoming worthless, still you only lose the value you bet. The key point is not to bet with more money than you can afford to lose.

Yeah, let's wait and see. I wouldn't be surprised if some other Musk-friendly billionaires bought the stock just to temporarily prevent it from falling.
If that's the case, they deserve to loose it as well :)

Today I heard that there are currently 16 billionaires in the Trump administration. So it's possible.
