what's your wifi card? i had issues with the qualcomm card in my laptop and i swapped it out for yet another intel ax210 (i've bought 3 of these now) because they just work flawlessly on linux

It truly is. I'm still on a learning curve, just started using it last week.
But it feels like old school Word with all the modern tools. Simple and effective.

I'm really fed up and annoyed with Microsoft politics with their products. Lots of things, like droplets of water that eventually overfill the bowl.
Another reason is I would just love to learn a new skill. It seems fun and I want to pick it up as a hobby.

I will say although it’s worth switching to an Intel card just because the driver support is way better, you might get away with it in the short term on your current card (particularly if you have Ethernet to do initial updates)
