they walk into one section of the ship and everyone is unconscious on the ground and he's like "oh this is the time a psychic pitcher plant knocked everyone out so it could eat the ship or maybe it's the time aliens invaded our dreams. Either way we got out of it so don't worry"

Something I love about Strange New Worlds is that a long distance relationship with someone on a starship can be very difficult. T'Pring is engaged to Spock but his career is always throwing him into an anomaly, turning him human, or getting him attacked by pirates, etc.
