I haven't listened, but for what it's worth, I hated Blood Meridian. No book in my memory has made me angrier than that one.

Can't wait to hear how it goes...

(And btw, if a person laughs multiple times during Blood Meridian, I think that says something about them. Not many lols in there.)

The Crossing is the best thing he wrote, you could give that a try if BM puts you off, especially since you already read All The Pretty Horses. But BM is incredible, don’t listen to the naysayers. Images from that book will stay with you forever.
