For real. I do not really code much at work(I create automation tools when there is some downtime). I do have a blast coding at home though. It's extremely fun and addicting.

If you are truly passionate about Programming do not work as a Software Engineer in the foreseeable future. It's gonna drain all the passion and soul out of you. Keep it a hobby until the market and culture around it changes. In fact you are gonna be the change.
