I think to make it a success on the long run, it needs to be something like 1st Sunday of the month. So people can identify without looking at a calendar.

Here in Holland you can go to some swimming pools at certain times, on certain days every week swim naked. Usually through membership of a naturist association

true but just saying most of the resorts I go to I find that ratio to be almost the norm. For every one woman I pass by nude, I pass by 5-6 men nude before another woman is seen.

Unfortunately women tend to be put off from Naturism because of some men's behaviours and attitudes. I only go to events with my husband because for whatever reason, if a man sees a woman on her own they tend to swarm her and that's very unnerving!

As single male, I think it is totally wrong to try and hit on a lone female. I will quite happily talk to them of course but also appreciate they may not want to do so, so will also respect their privacy. If we all did that then maybe more would attend?

Ok so let me chime in here, this is the problem you right away assume that the discussion was about hitting on women, saying hello to someone is not hitting on them. This is the main problem stop assuming any social engagement is "hitting on" someone.

I get that but I find it can be more the opposite where men are more nervous to even say hi to a woman because of how she will likely possibly over react thinking them saying hello in general is hitting on them. Society now has demonized men so much that we can't be social anymore.

There's a difference between being sociable and being sleezy. Nothing wrong with saying hello. Knowing when to leave her alone is the key though.
