Though curious, are they people/various species in rubber ponyplay gear or are they like actual rubber horses?

Clyde is called that after clydesdale.

Regarding their species/suits, that is to be expanded in later. Though I am curious if it makes much of a difference?

I don't think it makes too much difference, just maybe how one goes about being a rubber pony, like how easy is it to join or the like ^^

I'll probably get more into the story behind them as I solidify the writing but yes. Forced ponyplay for the most part.
