These tariffs will definitely hurt Canada, but they're going to hurt the US more in the long-term. Trump is trying to bring back steel/aluminum manufacturing to the US, but when he did the same thing in his last term it failed spectacularly. This isn't going to work.

In 2023 the US mined 96k tonnes of Bauxite. 1 tonne of Bauxite doesn't equal 1 tonne of aluminium.

They won't be building much of anything during the Dayglo One's failing experiment.
