If Democrats want stuff like this to be against the law, they need to write and pass laws. They learned nothing from his first Administration; we cannot depend on "norms" to safeguard our rights. Laws. When he breaks them then he can be impeached. Otherwise... we get their current dithering.

They — specifically, the 74th Congress — did indeed write and pass laws to make this illegal. That’s my complaint about the headline - it’s not just norms. The law says NLRB commissioners can only be fired for cause.
