Silence is beautiful but that person who is too tired to speak for themselves might need you to speak and advocate for them. There's no point having two tired people.
In Munich just around the corner from where I live we have a "Listening Room". There's always someone who's just going to listen to whatever you have to say. Judgement free. I love it!
And line up for you hand cuffs and internment camps. We cannot afford to be silent in the face of fascisms. Rather decline the invitation to let them run our show!
I love just being able to sit in comfortable silence with someone. It's just a shame it only really happens when I'm super comfy and chill with that person, and I don't tend to get that close with almost anyone unfortunately
If you are a dreamer, come in,
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer...
If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.
Come in!
Come in!
There is a part missing in the statement and book title, Democracy Dies in the Dark. I believe that Democracy Dies in Silence, when nobody stands up for it.

I prefer silence, introspection, patience and meditation.
Thoughts, prayers and words have their place in time.
Words with action is about letting others know if you have a foot in your mouth or fearless love for humanity.
