It's very tricky with combat and mini games but if you just do any activity enough it becomes progressively easier for you and the character. Youll either bounce like I did with 1 or youll become fixated like I did with 2
There's like one two many "doesnt this drunk old guy rule?" characters. And like yeah idk sure but maybe spread them out a bit? Its a game where every character is one of the NPCs geralt shakes his head at
I’m like 40 hours in and I haven’t done anything to get me closer to getting into the wedding yet to busy blacksmithing and solving land border disputes
The first one is fun but I did not finish it, and a lot of people Ive talked to have not either. I think this one is a lot more fun and finishable, really feels like medieval GTA
It goes on sale often enough that I feel like it wouldn’t be too much of a loss to drop it even just a few hours in, and I’ve heard there’s a LOT of references to it in 2. But I’m like 80+ hours of gaming away from making a purchase so 🤷♂️ time will tell lol
KCD 1 is fun if you want a primer to the gameplay style but KCD 2 is better/more polished in basically every way. They made a lot of, imo, important QoL changes.
