I can say from experience it hasn't changed much. Sure, things may not crash as often, but the number of times entering my name in a text field causes errors or other weirdness definitely outweighs the number of times it's succeeded without any issues.

LOL back when I was gullible enough to join a weight loss organisation, they spent 4 hours trying to enter me in their system, only to realise that it wouldn't allow a woman with a height of 1.83 metres. In they end they had to input me as male.
