You refer to the midterms as one way to fight for democracy. Are you sure elections will occur? Trump's already saying "we are in a state of war" to justify abuses of power, why wouldn't he use war as a way to suspend elections. Maybe that's why he is eager to have a military conflict with Panama.

Midterms are held by states. So they will happen. The issue is JimCrow v.2 which prevents many legal Dem/Black voters from casting their ballots. It is therefore imperative we rope in as many unhappy white people as possible rather than screaming FAFO at them.
