That could be the basic message, but the delivery is different. It's more sinister and if you know of certain experiences with them then it resonates more. It's clumsy and unnnecessary.

That's my point though. It's your interpretation of the delivery that's different. To say a club email is sinister, feels really odd to me.
I agree it may be a little clumsy, but clearly not unnecessary as enough other fans have complained about the behaviour.

Fair enough. Clumsy to one, sinister to another that has knowledge of a very poor experience behind such a message. We're both saying the same i think. Just different references perhaps.

Perhaps yeah. I agreed with your use of clumsy, it wasn't my choice of word.

Without understanding your frame of reference, it's difficult for me to emphasise more with your position. But understand you probably don't want to share it online, as you've not done so. With good reason, I'm sure.
