The last time I saw Sam he was trying to spread the lie that Scotland's renewable assets were too remote from the market, and no-one would invest in them.
Trouble is he picked the day that Shetland was connected to the UK grid, so that the most productive windfarm in the UK could power Leeds.

Renewable electricity generation will be an economic asset to Scotland “just in the same way” as oil & gas has been? This is very wrong. Renewables are a low return on capital business - a profoundly different kind of economic asset to high return on capital oil & gas production.
