So many theories. Truckers, a serial killer, friends and family members… A few years ago some of the families have hired a private investigator because they were frustrated with the lack of action and slow pace of the RCMP, but I don’t think they are much closer to an answer.

It always amazed me how bad cell phone coverage has always been in NW BC. When we first moved to Terrace in 2000, the only place with a digital signal was Prince Rupert, on its own system.

After 25 years, things are pretty well the same. Goes to show the problem with limited competition.

Also, the article says it has closed “most “ of the gaps. Is there service between Kitwanga and Terrace??that’s the area where there are so many people hitchhiking.
