There are more people that DO understand the importance of DEI initiatives. What if we stop shopping there? We have entered the "money talks" era of needing to spend in a socially responsible fashion.
We seriously need to stop shopping here. We need smaller grocery stores again, I need my neighborhood grocery back, you know the ones where they buy local produce & goods from local vendors. I pipe dream I know, but I miss it.
Do we know where all the pressure on corporations is coming from? Suddenly it seems like a lot, but is it? Or is it another case of noisy small groups?
Walmart didn't look particularly busy on Black Friday. Geez those small noisy groups are really punching above their weight class. Could it be buyers remorse for November 5th?
Of course Walmart would drop DEI. They treat their employees like shit anyway. I haven’t stepped foot in one or spent a dime there in about ten years now. They disgust me.
While red voters may continue to support Walmart, I did not shop there much and it is easy for me to drop them. But what will they do if tariffs raise WM prices. Just buy less I guess.
I have to ask myself, as strong as Walmart is, who is pulling all the strings for these puppets? Never in my lifetime have I seen the caving in to a Presidential idealism. NEVER! My grandfather warned me as a child of a regime. Yet I never seen it in action as I do now.
Corporations always chase profits. Always. They are also heavily responsible for people being fed up of DEI, because they use it as an excuse for poor goods and services.
If you’ve read P25 they mention elites and intelligence and not wanting “them” to speak for everyone because a lack of education doesn’t mean the uneducated can’t speak to their own needs.
They have a point. Still the uneducated shouldn’t have the mass vote. They don’t get it.
