Mass surveillance thrives on data collection. Minimize your digital footprint, disable location tracking, use anonymous browsers, and be mindful of what you share online. Privacy is not paranoia—it’s a fundamental right.

I would add this, if you go to a protest disable your biometrics in your cell phone so the police can’t just hold it up to your face while you’re handcuffed to gain access!
Even if you disable location services on your phone there is still cellular towers communicating with your phone and they can use a technique called triangulation, the only way to stop that would be to just get rid of your phone
If they are relying on your phone and triangulation to see your location there is another reasonable trick.. Leave it at home and if you must, then carry a "pay and go" phone only filled up by random cash bought voucher.. not for internet.. not for anything else, never powered at home ;)
You can also get a “faraday pouch” to put your phone in that will block the signals to & from your phone, or wrap it in a couple of layers of aluminum foil
I made a guide for this! It's scary how easy it is for law enforcement to intercept messages from large gatherings, and they do it way more often than people know.
There is no such thing as anonymous browser. Get a vpn like proton or Norde. Apple Facebook and google all sel our data to each other. Google is apple’ biggest customer buying your data.
Putting fake data into web pages is legal as long as there is no financial fraud. For example, social media has no need to know your real name, birth date, etc.
As a former database developer, I know that incorrect data is a major problem. Online, it can give you an extra measure of safety.
Very glad right now that my life-long arthritis prevents me from using a cell phone.
I have stopped using credit card, now shop with cash. It is a bit amusing to see the cashiers at the grocery store are not familiar with cash these days.

I have no other social media. It's. Not. Safe.
Social media is a hard core LIABILITY... Legally, socially and emotionally.
2. Get ur self a VPN.
Do some investigating for better or best VPN service. I don’t want to endorse anyone.
