The wage gap has only grown. Companies changed their focus from the employees to the stock holders. And I also look at people’s personal responsibilities. Just having children moves you closer to the poverty level
I kinda feel like he is being sarcastic. He's a Democrat. He says tariffs will destroy our economy. He donated to Democrats. He is not like the others. My husband works for one of his companies. He thinks it's absurd that his secretary pays more taxes than him.
When he thought Kamala was going to win he sold a ton of stock to prepare to pay higher taxes. He wasn't against it. I think this is a big mischaracterization. Some Wealthy people are good. My grandfather left almost all his multimillions to veterans. I love him so much for that.

But it's easier to fight the poor than to help them. Even if fighting the poor indirectly through taxes will cost you more than directly help them. It's the same with helping addicted vs. fighting the war on drugs. The war on drugs costs billions, directly helping them would be a lot cheaper.
