Idk how to explain at this point, but seeing generated images take over every of our visual cultures makes me immensely sad. I don't think people have an idea of how much of a disaster it is. People have normalized it so easily, too.

They have? Every time a company uses AI I see a huge (justified) blowback from the populace. I've never seen anybody say "hell yeah Disney good job using AI"
I have hope that it's actually because it's free/cheap right now. These AI companies are still selling product at a loss in an attempt to generate market share. Even $200/mo for chatgpt pro is a loss leader. No regular person will be able to afford it at this rate. We just have to wait it out 💪
