In my humble opinion probably the greatest pairing in football ever.
People talk about the Barca side under Pep being one of, if not best ever but I’ve always felt the Milan team with Baresi costacurta Maldini would’ve beat them
For an unknown reason I was blocked by a guy on this post that misunderstood Maldini.
The "If I have to tackle I made a mistake" quote is not a misqoute. Maldini means that a defender only has to make a slide tackle, when his defensive mind and reading of the game fails him, therefore a mistake.
