Protesting won’t do anything - that’s a 50-year-old approach. Coordination and organization, a reset of political priorities, and the Dems need to build a bigger tent that includes everyone they lost since the 1990s.
gridlock dc and every other major city, to the likes we have never seen before. sounds dumb but its the only peaceful option we have and the only one that could work given enough people.
Wouldn’t that give Trump et al exactly what they are looking for? They have been pre-seeding the idea that non-Trumpers are criminals and anti-Americans, and that they will use the military to engage if needed. Stephen Miller is an accelerationist that would LOVE that BLM riots again!
Honestly I agree. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I see so many young people rejecting apathy and rigid gender constructs and embracing community these days. I think the patriarchy won't know what hit it.
