Never happened to me while playing but I cannot deny that Manhunter feels like the sort of game where that'd happen.

I do think I've had some missions drag me out too far- but never a cutscene.

I just face a dire lack of good monster games.

Maneater was cheap fun but it was some solid fun- the narrator really pulled his weight though. I would not have considered it worth my money without him.

The original post made me wonder about a game that had mechanics to require the player break cutscene triggers so they can control their character during cutscenes where they're supposed to die/meet an end-state, and the game gets patched throughout to need new exploits for messing with cutscenes.
