I once saw a headline that went something like "Dua Lipa mourns the ‘death’ of Duo the Owl" that I assumed was DuoLingo marketing, and that Dua Lipa was a DuoLingo character. Was really confused when talking with someone professing to be a Dua Lipa fan lol
