Of course it'd be cool if they were free, but I won't bristle too much at $10 upgrades. $20 is a lot for just performance though.

"Normal" game = $70
"Premium" game = $80
"Budget" game = $50??? (based on games like Prime Remastered being $40 on Switch 1)
Both Zelda games are priced only $10 more than their Switch 1 counterparts. Mario Party and Kirby are $20 more and include new content.
The hardware and games look GREAT. Their biggest (only?) challenge right now is PR specifically on pricing. Being cagey about prices will only make that challenge bigger.
If anybody was going to do that, it was going to be Rockstar with GTA6, but there wasn't even consensus on that.
Selling MKWorld for $50 as a pack-in helps with that. But who is going to buy Mario Party Jamboree Switch 2 Edition for $80!?
