As someone who works in big tech and is anti-ai, it’s frightening how cult like AI bros are. The look-aid must taste great.

I’m doing my best to avoid it completely, and hoping I don’t get laid off in the next year or two.

Interestingly, the historical Luddites were a group who opposed companies using technology to undercut their labor and expertise. So, I’d say a lot of people feel very similar and justified feelings toward AI.
