Fabulous artist. Great painting. Purcell wrote an amazing Ode on St Cecilia’s Day where he writes about the sounds of the wood the instruments are made of ‘Tis nature’s voice’. The box and fir. ie the flute and violin. Etc. wonderful intelligent piece.
