It's head in the sand stuff to me. People are acting as if the Constitution were still in force. The coup has been executed, the only law is Trump. The idea there are legal constitutional remedies now is absurd.

I think one thing, too, that has weakened their strategy is having brought Elon Musk into the fold and given him a role that should have been a slow burner, but has become a uncontrollable wildfire they can’t contain. He’s a loose cannon that seems to be in the process of installing himself as King.

seems similar to whats happening now
using fascism to scare everybody, which takes the focus off his stupidity and/or dementia
