I just got to him yesterday and am so on the fence with this dude. Getting out of Seattle would be a boon for strikeouts and actualization of contact expectations, but knees don't get better so I wonder how much he can provide even if the offense bounces back. 450+ PA, 2+ oWAR is within reach.

I think it's all about the price point that he comes in at too. But in a world where Bregman and Adames are apparently asking for significant paydays, a one-year Polanco flier should be appealing for a lot of teams.

There's a reason those guys are commanding a different market, but beyond them infield is relatively thin in FA so you kind of have to pick your warts if looking to improve. Reds can go a lot of different ways, but biggest thing for them is internal improvement for their good, young players.
