This is spot on. Thank you for expressing this so clearly. Personally, one of the hardest things about experiencing war is this exact inability to process all the grief.
It’s so dehumanizing to loved ones and strangers who are being murdered daily, and to us – who are alive for now.
Like they’re really turning into numbers, like they are disposable. And we, we turn into rocks, since we physically can’t grieve amid this overwhelming tragedy and constant danger.
I visited Kyiv this August for the first time.I felt safe since I was staying in the middle of the town.There were air raid alerts at night and in the mornings & distant explosions.It was so surreal to me that I couldn't comprehend that it was a life threat,and drones are sent to kill and destroy.
