The fact that this has been going on for SIX MONTHS without any sort of resolution being reached yet really emphasizes how little these companies actually value voice acting, even if its absence impacts the quality of their products.

Having to strike for six months now without a breakthrough is ridiculous. Keep fighting, Yuri; you're one of my voice acting inspirations, and I don't plan on letting AI change that.

Movies or tv shows dont release or are paused, so the companies making them take the hit. Here Bungie released the season anyway. Not sure how it helps the cause really.

I'm sure movies' and shows' intermittent schedules have a lot to do with why they're able to do that. Bungie's not really at that liberty from what I understand. They have a constant and apparently pretty high burn rate.

Apparently it's not Bungie specifically and they contract through some agency, and I would argue the company is taking a significant hit in their product quality for something most people prepaid for, all while basically all public sentiment is on the side of the strikes.

The post that is blocked is basically saying in destiny 2 some of the cutscenes and voice lines in game aren’t voice + the game auto turns subtitles on for the voices that aren’t voiced and yuri is just stating that the strike is still going on

Ouch. The fact that this strike has been going on longer than the past two strikes (WGA and SAGAFTRA) two years ago combined, let alone having neither coverage nor a resolution is outrageous. I’m sorry it’s gotten to this point, Yuri. Don’t give up the fight.
