I used to be able to buy a bag of fresh oyster mushrooms at the farmers market in Johns Island, SC but have not seen any in the Tucson markets. Too dry I guess or can't grow at the cooler wetter altitudes? Sad to hear that they are invasive.

I’ve seen them at the Udall and Rillito farmers markets in the past, although I don’t go very often during the winter months. This is the vendor that normally has oyster mushrooms…
