One of the best pubs in London struggling for survival because planning is stacked in favour of some powerful NIMBYs. Everything that’s wrong with Britain.

And don’t move near a church/mosque that rings bells /calls to prayer etc every week or a farm with loud animals then act surprised and protest. Just makes no sense

Interesting. So properties are selling for between 800k & 2.25m in that road. Surely those people have the money to pick an area that suits them. It's like those people who moved to Notting Hill & now do nothing but moan about Carnival.

Seen a coffee van being moved on from a popular local play park, because someone from some flats 200 yards away complained it was attracting Peadophiles.
It was super popular with the parents who could chill with a drink and cake watching their kids play, but there was no room to respond.

Its like trolling IRL. I expect it of some folk, and its sort of fine, we are all different, but the willingness of the council to just roll with it, like because you rent a flat above a Pub, you're entitled to destroy their business, I don't really get.

With so few community resources and hubs they should be thankful they have one on their doorstep.

Don’t move into a community and decide you’ll change the nature of it 🤬

Everyone knows all of these venues are struggling to stay afloat.
