I read through the thread you posted about MacDonald / leading through others and I think there are a lot of good points made there... but I'd argue insulting Corbin's reporting rather than articulating your point well (as you did elsewhere) is undercutting what you're trying to say.

By "no proof" do you mean "volumes of writings and research" on this specific leadership transition, by bill walsh, belichick, harvard, etc.? Or do you mean the multiple times McDonald was quoted as not having spent time with the offense in a given practice because he was absorbed in the defense?

Mac could have had the offense run HB dives all practice during the week with a clear strategy discussed before the game, but the whole point is it doesn't matter when the OC loses track of the game plan mid-game. That isn't a Mac "leadership" problem
