did the graphite first, varnished twice, then taped off the square, painted with two coats of gouache, peeled, then varnished two more times. sorry for the quick repost video format on here is awful pls ignore my disgusting hands

it does, but make sure to use two coats and let it cure for like 24hrs

I truly appreciate getting an insight into your process! May I ask what type of varnish you use? I paint with gouache only and I'd love to try and mix it up.

for graphite and gouache i use winsor and newton matte spray varnish (the can w the black label)
