Oh, right! Sorry, I got as far as the next room, then decided to make tea, took a sec to remember where the tea was, went for the tea, started straightening it all, went to find a basket, found ramen, decided to make it, heated the water, forgot the water...

Haha, that sounds familiar! The one and only time I’ve been stoned, it felt like dissociation + anxiety, while turning up adhd symptoms to 11.

(I get that it’s super helpful for plenty of people, but… I didn’t particularly enjoy it ^^)

I exactly told someone earlier that it was like having my ADHD turned up to 11. Yes! My anxiety wasn't, though, luckily. And it wasn't unpleasant in itself, but I would have been terrified if I had things I needed to do. This is definitely a weekend-and-in-a-safe-place experience.

I think the anxiety for me was because I was fighting the high (I don’t like being in altered states that I can’t just choose to come out of, I‘ve gotten very anxious the few times I’ve been anywhere close to drunk as well), otherwise it might have just felt like adhd + dissociation

Oh, yeah, I feel that! I had to make a conscious decision to let go, because my brain wasn't sure about it. I definitely do not get how people do this outside of a controlled environment!
