You can also check the door seals, unplug it for 45 minutes, and plug it back in. Make sure you have room for air to move around everything. I've done apt. maintenance in a previous life. Not an expert, just experienced, lol

Oh, just sucks. Don't know if it you do it , the coils on the back can get dusty and make it overheat, clean them, and might be the problem.

A few years back mine went out at Christmas. Had to bury my food in a cooler in a snow bank. For 6 days. It worked well but some stuff froze.

Don’t replace it with an LG or a Kenmore. The compressors last 4 years. That’s all you get for your $1700.

Uggh! Ours was making a horrible sound when I remembered that when my mom’s did that we had to turn it off until the ice buildup on the fan and workings melted. After that it worked fine.

For the past hurricane I froze water bottles & when the power went off put them in frig to help keep up temp. A prior hurricane I had shrimp cocktail in frig & what a reek of a smell to get rid of. Glad to hear a new one arrives tomorrow.
