plausibility aside, for some devs there isn't anything more exciting than getting to work on legacy game preservation and compatibility. to hand that off to some slop algorithm is fucking criminal.

It is simply not plausible given how this tech works that you could take old footage from an old video game and have a 'model' 'run' the game on new hardware, and only a fucking idiot would believe that.
