liked it but didn't love it! think there is something thoughtful about its ambiguity that could be unearthed and i know a handful of people who were moved by it, which i am happy about
i think the way people, esp abuse survivors, view stories through their own lens is the most valuable thing in the world, and to act like there’s 1 right way and 1 wrong evil immoral way makes me so anxious.
totally agree! there were a few parts of the film i found moving, but i am especially grateful that some people really connected with it, felt seen, and found the experience healing
