There might be a chance that if your UNION files the suit it will be rejected for "no standing". It just happened to a bunch of workers in another agency. The court said the union had no standing up represent the workers because the union itself suffered no harm. Better check on that.

There are not enough jobs in the private sector to absorb the losses from the fed. This will also affect small rural communities with USFS, FSA, USDA-ARS, etc offices in them, as former fed workers are forced to leave and no longer contributing to their economies. We’re headed for recession.
