Must read. Basically says the pandemic was as terrible as the 'alarmists' predicted but "our memories are so warped by denial, suppression and sublimation that Covid revisionism no longer even qualifies as news."

I don’t know whom to trust regarding bird-flu info. Heck, regarding “regular” flu info. I cannot believe RFK Jr was confirmed, but it certainly was not because of his knowledge of public health.

I mean, all it took was looking at the data and making a range of guesses about what that data implied. It's not quite as bad as I was expecting but our response has been worse, so I'm close enough personally. This is why I'm so angry at the minimizers, the data has never supported that!

Five years! I need to read this but "alarmist" fits many of us. It looks like a great companion piece to the article on @aunz.theconversation.com / @radionz.nzcow.com that's focused on Covid NZ's 5 year anniversary and the need for a continued "strong response".
