Design is optimism. That’s the best single word. Design is believing in ideas, no matter how small or strange, and knowing that big ideas come from little ones, but only if we tend to them and help them grow.

As practitioner to peers, I wonder what are your thoughts about deeper levels? Some that come to mind are having persistence against systems that resist change, and the ethics to understand the “why” of what you’re doing/what harm you may cause.
