Today I taught my children one of the most valuable lessons of growing up in DC: The airport is called National or DCA, never Reagan.

steve, why would you EVER call DCA reagan?? even if anyone gave over to calling BWI marshall?? neither an equitable exchange nor worthy endowment.
call DCA national, BWI marshall; the only arrangement that is suitable in truth. esp given ronnie's treatment of the ATC folks early in his term reign.

Even when forced to fly into it, I have NEVER called it anything but National. The checkin agents have never batted an eye, and type in DCA, so
I imagine I am not the only one.

I lived in the DC area in the 70s and 80s. I've never called it Reagan. I've also never called Cincinnati's Ronald Reagan Highway anything other than Cross County.🤷🏼‍♀️
