Your description makes me want to play SG64 but I can’t get by the super slow movement. I will say that it was made from the same design document we used for Beyond Shadowgate - but the team at Kemco deviated after the beginning. I don’t think Dave Marsh had much to do with it.
Oh i FEEL you. The game is incredibly slow. My initial thoughts were “this is too slow and obtuse” but if you can work past that it becomes an experience 😂 and if you dont vibe with it, ya dont vibe 🤷🏼♂️

I’d recommend the original Shadowgate on the NES followed by Deja Vu, Uninvited, then Beyond Shadowgate on Steam in that order. But I may be biased. What’s everyone else think?
