An old version of a respirator but it has a much lower risk of lung inflammation so it was ideal for patients with long term paralysis. These days they tend to go the traechotomy way because it's quicker and less drain on the medical resources.
Many respiratory therapists wish those were still available for patients, at least that's what I've heard. Current solutions carry a very high of infection and inflammation.
It probably also be good for like people with my issues cause I have high risk of inflammation of any and all types and my lungs are very weak from my connective tissue issues
